The goal of User Based Casting is simple: to score one of our members an audition for a leading role in an upcoming YA book-to-film adaptation.

User Based Casting is the unofficial casting site for upcoming YA book-to-film adaptations. Our goal? To score someone an audition. Here's how it works.

To qualify, users film and upload a set of required monologues for their desired character. Fellow members critique these audition videos and offer suggestions for improvement. Users then go on to compete in Voting Cycles, allowing fans to determine which unknowns are the best candidates for their beloved characters.

So what are you waiting for? Submit your vote and help us revolutionize the casting process!

Are you a Casting Director? Excellent! We're delighted to have you here.

User Based Casting holds unofficial Voting Cycles for roles in upcoming book-to-film-adaptations, allowing the book's fans (and the general public!) to determine which unknowns they would most like to see portray their beloved characters. Our end goal is for you to offer someone an audition for a role in one of our YA book-to-film adaptations, so please: mosey on over to your film's "Results" page and check out our Finalists! To get in touch with any of our actors, please send us an email at userbasedcasting@gmail.com.
